Drew Alkema

It's hard to imagine southern rock and 90's alternative music coming together with classical masterpieces and put together on one instrument, but modern fingerstyle guitarist Drew Alkema does just that. With just a simple acoustic guitar, drew manages to convince audiences into thinking they're listening to an entire band. Combining percussive techniques and beautiful melodies, the solo artist is able to create an ambiance second to none.
  A Michigan native, he has been featured on every major media outlet in his area. Drew has shared the stage with the likes of Tantric, Days of the New, and Bullet for My Valentine. He is a featured artist of Fretmonkey Records and is the social media manager of Fretmonkey Nation: a musician-centered, social media-driven website. Alkema is also a featured artist of K&K Sound Systems, Stonebridge Guitars ,and Elite Acoustics Engineering & Sunburst Gear. Most recently he has been featured in "Acoustic Uprising," a world-wide released documentary on modern acoustic guitar.
